HOW WE STARTED
Our Formative Years
While in college, we built a mentorship app that connected professionals and youngsters, gaining over 50,000 organic downloads on App Store and Play Store before we even graduated.
The Launch
We saw the need for structured mentorship as users struggled to find opportunities during Covid-19. Metvy became one of India’s first startups to launch Live Cohorts, paving the way for impactful learning experiences.
Navigating PMF
We raised a small round of funding and got incubated at IIM-Bangalore’s NSRCEL. We further started conducting plethora of experiments to understand and optimise learner’s experience in our cohorts. We witnessed first signs of pre-PMF as we got the majority of our learners through referrals.
Early Growth
We raised another round, and started optimising our model for scalability - as we witnessed 2x growth with minimal burn. We also made it to Transcend Fellowship - (YC for Ed-techs)
Rocketship
We are now increasing our catalogue of affordable cohorts to bless the world with our magical learning experience, as we replace online courses with cohorts - one skill at a time.
